J&E Designs Process

Like all amazing things that come to fruition there is a process in our wedding planning company. Brides and grooms who work with J&E Designs are stress free because we believe in this process that has worked for many years and all different couples.

1. Inquiry. You start here! 

We usually get something on the back end that lets us know you are interested, basically you sent us an email saying you were interested. I like to send out a questionnaire that will give me a feel of how you want your wedding day to feel like and look like. Notice those are two very different things and I want my brides and grooms to get BOTH of those.

2. Come in for a consultation! Coffee is on the house! Or whatever you like to drink!

You and your fiance (or just you, or just you and family members) come in and meet with me and we talk about your big day. What you want, how you want things to flow, what your biggest needs are, and then why you believe you need a wedding planner. Most brides don't believe they need a wedding planner until they are 2 months out from their big day and realize someone has to put all of this together. I am a huge advocate for families and friends NOT to work on your wedding day. I've seen numerous weddings where friends helped but never once got to enjoy themselves. They were up and down, running around, never really eating their dinner or sneaking bites in a corner, or even rolling their eyes when someone called their name again. Believe me, leave the not so glamorous parts to me. I break down what I do and how I do it. I give you details you probably never thought of about your wedding, some tips, and throw in a few freebies for you as well.

3. Think about it! 

I don't want my couples to feel pressured to book with me on the spot (oh, by all means, please do so if you like me that much!) but I want my couples to really look over my proposal, really delve into the packages I offer, and then ask questions (you are allowed one email for free). I am an open book about why I charge what I charge, how I operate, and what I do for you.

4. Sign up! YAY!! {Throwing confetti}

At this point, you have decided to join the most amazing and award winning wedding planning company in Arizona (I am humble AND modest). I’ll shoot you over a contract and your invoice, once those two things are handled, I send you out a very lovely gift (oh, you'll love this). Don't worry, I send something for the groom as well.

5. Once you join J&E Designs, we start planning your big day! 

During this stage, depending on the package you picked, I am in communication with you regarding your wedding plans. And no matter what package you picked, please reach out to me regarding ANYTHING, especially if it is causing you stress! Planning your wedding can be fun, I like to meet again and get a road map, so to speak, about how to approach your wedding planning and what we can do about what fits into your plans. 

​

6. Wedding day!

We do all the work and there is only one hitch - you two getting married! You will just enjoy the day, do nothing more but share in the love from your hunny, friends, and families!
